We created
a prototype of a networked game for Berkeley Systems, the makers of
the popular game "You Don't Know Jack". The prototype allowed
up to 4 players on a network to play the game "Liar's Dice"
simultaneously. We used Director to implement the game and XtraNet
to handle the communication. The prototype allowed Berkeley Systems
to quickly evaluate the potential entertainment value of the game
without the investment of a full software development process.
