This was a software prototype of an application to run on a user's PC to manage music on a portable digital music player. The concept was similar to the portable MP3 players now widely available, but at the time, there was nothing like it on the market. It could be used to manage playlists, preview songs, and to download music to the portable device. We worked with the product team at MJuice to design the interface, then prototyped it in Director.

We also developed a software prototype (below) of the music player that MJuice was proposing. It was developed to simulate the exact behavior of the player, and was used to demo the product as well as refine the design.
